Jeff’s delivery of clinic material always builds upon the previous clinic. First time clinic participants get an overall assessment by Jeff which will help them improve their riding experience and their horsemanship knowledge. In each clinic, Jeff provides elements of work at liberty, ground work and riding. Not too much, not too little.
His rationale for having clinic participants devote 2 days to the learning process is this: Day 1 is spent sending you and your horse in the right direction… to a meeting place where what you know and what your horse knows start to merge. The best place to end Day 1 is at a point where your partner has done exactly what you have asked of him. He remembers the last thing you asked him to do. Overnight that gels and Day 2 begins with finessing what Day 1 started. At the end of Day 2, you go home with material to work on (Homework!). The next time spent with Jeff will review that, improve on it and move you forward in your horsemanship. Every minute spent in the learning environment leads to a future of relaxed, tense-free riding.
If you want to participate in this clinic, we are looking for a $200.00 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot in the clinic. If your vet or your doctor determines that either you or your horse is unable to attend, your deposit will be credited to a future clinic of your choice! The balance of $400.00 is payable the day of the clinic.
